Words, Wants & Wonder
November 17, 2010
In making this Wordlet for the blog (fascinating isn’t it?) and then in reflecting upon this “Non-Kinky Take on Kink“, I’ve come to think that at some point in our relationship I must have stopped saying “I want (you to)” so loudly that I had time to wonder about what she wanted – and then to get excited about her want and desire.
Ever since then I think variations on the words “what do you want?” have increased in significance and meaning to me – so much so that I find myself seeking out the wants and desires she hasn’t expressed yet, wondering what and where they are, when they’ll arrive, what fun I’ll have fulfilling them - anticipating the joy and fun of fulfilling her.

It is a wonderful one, this wordlet/wordle. It does catch the essence really really well. It is a great too to show people what a piece of writing is really about (both privately and in business I have found)
You should try some with a story to see what the essence is in those. :-)

Well I have you to thank, ShadowLady. I have done a number of wordlets based on stories now and discovered a few things.
First, I use the word “just” entirely too much when writing fiction.
Second, I mentioned this comment about wordles(?) to my wife and showed her the wordlet based on the blog – and (very cool) she liked it!
And actually, (double cool for me) she afterward decided on email blog subscription. That is, so long as I don’t pester her by constantly talking about posts, she reminded me she actually lives with the blogger and so doesn’t need him to overwrite her life. ;)
I’ll put up some of those story wordlets shortly.
